For you 2007 users, there is a great feature in ON 2007 that will allow you to expand your writing space to include the entire screen. The way to do this is to click the "expan" icon on the top of the screen right next to the "Help" Menu. It is the blue icon with the 4 arrows in the corners.

You can't search the documents in this mode, just click the button again to go back to non-expanded mode.
