I received a request for help in placing the iCal calendars into a PDA.
There are two dilineations that need to be made when talking about this.
Are you using a Windows Mobile PDA, or a Palm PDA? The steps to get your
calendar onto your PDA are different for both.
If you use a
Windows Mobile PDA, then you will import the iCal file into Microsoft
Outlook. You can read how to do that here.
Then, you will do an activesync of your PDA. Your calendar will now be
in your PDA. Simple.
If you use a Palm PDA, you will do
much the same steps as for Windows Mobile PDAs. However, you will
import the iCal file into your Palm Desktop program (truth be told, I
don't even know if this is possible--I don't have a PDA). Then, you
will do a HotSync of your PDA.
Yahoo calendars will allow
for syncing of your calendar with your PDA (there is a program to
download). I think google calendars are the best, even though they
don't have this feature (it is coming). There is a program that will
allow this, but it is in a non-userfriendly state.
