I thought I would talk about two websites that I used a lot, and the
scenarios that I used them in.
First is the Iowa
website.
I used this site when I needed a fellow to tutor me
(or any other student). This is good, since the fellow can outline the
structures, which is MUCH better than a pointer.
Second is the Boston
website.
I used this website for personal study (as well as
the Iowa website). There are a couple of tricks to it, though. Look
for the "boxes" on the slides--if you click on the box it will take you
to a higher res image of that slide. At any time, you can click on
"label" and it will take the current image and outline pertinent
structures (for whatever reason, they made it black and white when you
do this).
I hope you guys find this useful. I got so sick of
trying to "describe" what I saw on the slide (often, the fellow and I
were miscommunicating). That iowa website should eliminate this.
